Terms and Conditions Costa Rica
1. A valid Passport for at least 6 months after arrival date is required for travelling to Costa Rica*
2. We strongly recommend that our clients purchase travel insurance to cover unforeseen potential problems prior to/during a trip. This insurance protects your deposits for both land and air costs should you have to cancel or interrupt your trip due to grave unplanned circumstances (sickness, injury, death of a family member, weather which causes cessation of services, etc.)*
3. Departure Day: Please take note that this day you must check in with your airline provider at least 2-3 hours for international flights and 1 hour for local flights. You must also consider transfer times from one destination to another prior to your flight departure time.
4. Local Flight Policies:

Maximum luggage allowance is 40 pounds + 10 carry-on per person including. Excess luggage will be charged at $1.50 per pound. The extra luggage is subject to space. Carrier may refuse baggage on the basis of excessive volume for safety reasons.
5. Reservations, Payment and Cancellations:
To initiate any reservation process, we must receive previously a partial to full prepayment on services.
· In certain cases depending on the supplier, 100 % payment could be required at the time of the booking.
· Please note that special deposit and special cancelation policies may apply.
· Your travel advisor will advise about any other special terms and conditions that may apply.
Payments
Standard Booking Periods (May through June / September through November):
· 50% Deposit is due at time of booking.
· Balance is due in full 30 days prior to arrival.
High Season Booking Periods (December through April / July through August):
The high season in Costa Rica is marked by heavy bookings. In order to guarantee your booking, we require the following:
· 50% Deposit is due at time of booking.
· Balance is due in full 60 days prior to your arrival date.
Peak Season (Christmas-New Year/Easter weeks)
The peak season in Costa Rica is marked by heavy bookings. In order to guarantee your booking, we require the following:
• 50% Deposit is due at time of booking
• Balance is due in full 90 days prior to your arrival date
Payment Methods:
All payments must be made in U.S. Dollars to Memorable Travel Group.
We have a secure payment method in which at the time of payment, we will send the details and a payment link. We strongly recommend the client access the secure payment link to process the payment sent by your Memorable Travel Group representative.
When the client has accessed that link, they have the option of using or entering their credit card information to make the payment (Visa, Master Card, Discover & American Express) or eventually they can use their personal PayPal account.
If you as the travel agent have a formal authorization from the client to pay on their behalf, we ask you to inform the client immediately when the payment is processed. Once the payment is processed via the secure payment link, the client will see the charge to their card under the name of Memorable Travel Group. If the clients dispute the charge from Memorable Travel Group, then their reservation is no longer guaranteed until payment is received.
We also accept payment via direct deposit in our bank in the US. For further information please contact your account manager. All payments must be received by the payment deadline to avoid cancellation.
Cancellations:
· All cancellations must be in writing.
· For Standard Bookings Periods, any cancelation within 30 days of travel date will be 100% penalized.
· For High Booking Periods, any cancelation within 60 days of travel will be 100% penalized.
· For Peak Booking Periods, any cancelation within 90 days of travel will be 100% penalized.
· There is a $ 195 per person fee for any cancelations that occur out of the 30, 60 or 90 days prior to travel cancelation deadline.
· Additional charges may be made depending on suppliers’ conditions.

REFUNDS: Any claims for refunds must be made IN WRITING within 30 days of scheduled return. All negotiable vouchers must accompany the claim. No refunds will be made for any unused portions of this trip. No refunds will be made for missing transfers or sightseeing tours due to changes or delays in airline schedules. Memorable Travel Group will not refund any money for changes in travel arrangements made by the traveller after the departure date.
Any service issue affecting the quality of the guest’s hotel stay must be addressed directly with the hotel’s management at the time the issue arises since refunds cannot be given for such inconveniences.
Privacy Statement
Memorable Travel Group will not disclose any personal information to third parties. All information we receive from you will be used only to confirm your vacation package or itinerary and at times to inform you about our services.
Legal Limitations
Memorable Travel Group, (its owners, associates, agents and employees) shall assume no responsibility nor liability, for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity to person or property in connection with any service provided or resulting directly from the following: weather and road conditions, breakdowns, strikes, war, riots, acts of God, detention annoyance, terrorism, thefts, pilferage, force majeure, civil disturbances, government restrictions or regulations, delays and expenses arising from quarantine, failure of any means of conveyance to arrive or depart as scheduled, and discrepancies or change in transit, car rentals, tours, or hotel services over which we have no control.
Memorable Travel Group is acting as a third party agent–all travel documents issued by Memorable Travel Group including all tickets, vouchers and coupons issued and all arrangements for transportation or conveyance or for hotel or lodging, car rental, touring or sightseeing services are subject to the terms and conditions of each supplier. By tendering payment to Memorable Travel Group for any and all services, the participant(s) agrees to accept and be bound by the terms and conditions on this page.
